Sammy is a wonderful boy with a super nature and a pedigree to match. He is already doing well in the ring with many wins to his credit including many BPD's and we were delighted when he was awarded RBPIS (BOS) at The Cocker Spaniel Club Ch Show under breed specialist Sandy Platt 2nd only to kennel mate Joy Rider - see below - and gained his junior warrant title at 13 months. As he comes out of the puppy classes he has already taken RBIS - BOS - at The Solid Colours Cocker Show and I am really looking forward to campaigning this special dog through 2007. Sammy's took his turn to 'do his thing' at Crufts 2007 in the Graduate dog class under judge Sally Shields. As always, Sammy stood like a rock, and moved effortlessly around the large ring, really enjoying himself. He is such a pleasure to show. Well, it wasn't just me that he impressed, but the judge liked him too and after pulling him out in the shortlist, he went on to win 1st place. Well done Sammy.
Latest News: Sammy was awarded his JW title at just over 12 months which gives him his stud book number and automatic qualification for Crufts for life.
Sireing strong healthy black and golden puppies which inherit his wonderful easy going nature as well as his striking good looks. Harry, his first son has already qualified for Crufts 2010 and is a delightful fun loving lad who is a real pleasure to show. His daughter Betty is the sweetest girl always wagging her tail and carries her toy around with her all the time at home. She is holding her own in the best of company at every level of showing too.

Judges critique from The Solid Cocker Spaniel Club’s Ch Show 31/10/2009 Open dog. Very impressive class.
1st. Wyeth’s Claramand On Fire at Fendrove JW, most impressive, clean workmanlike outline, nothing cloddy or over exaggerated, just elegance, substance & looking as though he could last a days work, liked his head, lovely eye shape set, colour and expression, enough strength of muzzle to do his job, strong reach of neck, good length & angulation of blade and upper arm , good bone and feet, firm topline, good length , depth & enough spring of rib, short loin, muscular quarters with enough balanced angulation, beautifully presented in gleaming coat & condition, absolutely positive & true front & rear, good reach & drive in profile, presented & handled to perfection. Novice Dog. Surprising to have such a depth of quality in this class. 1st. Wyeth’s Fendrove King Of Clubs, absolutely lovely, substance, no trace of overweight, plenty of muscle, with all his glamour he still looked & had the construction & conformation to do the job he was designed for, most lovely clean head, best of expressions, strong neck, firm topline, good length & angulation of blade & upper arm , good length, depth & spring of rib, short loin, strong muscular quarters, in excellent, beautifully presented coat, moved with style, sound front & rear, good reach & drive, even at this young age in contention for top honours.

In this picture Harry wasn't completely in show trim as we were just on a day out when we took this photo, but as you can see he is a lovely looking dog. What you can't see is his delightful personality and his ever wagging tail. Harry has already proved popular in the ring qualifying for Crufts 2010 at only his second Ch Show.....a chip off the old block! Harry is Optigen FN Clear.
