Fendrove Annie Oakley "Pippa" (C. Thriller at Fendrove X Fendrove Look At Me Now) Pippa has been only lightly shown taking rather a back seat to her sister (Maggie). She is a real sweetie and has done everything we could have hoped for in the few shows she attended including qualifying for Crufts at only her second show (her first champ show) under breed judge Mrs Barbara Ward. She has continued to do well and enjoy herself in the ring. She has also been rewarded by being allocated a Stud Book Number. After producing a beautiful litter of 8 puppies to Sh Ch Tierra Highlander (see puppies page) Pippa has now gone to live with Ria and her family. Ria already has a Fendrove puppy - Fendrove Toffee Apple (Lulu) who has just started showing, and when she said she would like an older cocker to show too, I suggested that she have Pippa. It is clearly a match made in heaven, and I wish Ria, Pippa and Lulu every success in the future. 25th March 2007 I have just heard some great news from Ria....Pippa (Fendrove Annie Oakley) went Best in show at Great Yarmouth and Gorleston Canine Society open show today under BIS judge Gavin Robinson (Soletrader). Many thanks to breed specialists Paul Carpenter (Ruphill) for awarding her Best of Breed and Sue Warrington (Zakova) for The Gundog Group. Needless to say Ria was very excited, and of course I am very proud of them both. |
